The Non-Clods
Pianist Tim Ray, Bassist David Clark, Ruthie, percussionist Pedro Ito after ARTSomerville and the Nave Gallery one year anniversary concert on June 24, 2005. Performance was in the sanctuary of the Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church, Somerville Massachusetts. We dubbed ourselves Ruthie and the Non-Clods. The program included the First Chapter of Nature Notes, the debut of Rainbow Sleeves, and Ruthie’s arrangements of Carefully Taught, Nature Boy, Laura Nyro’s ballad I Never Meant to Hurt You, Joni Mitchell’s Woodstock, and other selections.
