Pianist Dave Kikoski, bassist Ed Friedland, Ruthie, drummer Ray Frisby. We had a four month gig at the Copley Square Westin playing five nights a week-- playing 5 hours each night. New Year Eve’s was our last gig. Kikoski moved to New York the week after we finished. If you’re not familiar with his playing check him out. He has recorded with Roy Haynes, Randy Brecker, Ralph Moore, and as a leader. Bassist Ed Friedland now lives in Tucson where he’s playing and also writing for Bass Player Magazine. Percussionist Ray Frisby is living and working in Los Angeles.
